C Family
I have known this family for about 7 years now. They lived next door to us when my son was a baby and one of their daughters babysat for us! We missed them when they moved away, but then we moved into a new neighborhood and they were in our ward! I was so excited to see them :) They are such a beautiful family!! B was nice enough to let me take some pictures of her younger kids a few years back and she asked me to do the family pics this year!

big m family sneaky peeky
My awesome sister in law called me last week and asked if I was available to take her inlaw's family pictures! Her mother in law had asked her to find someone to take our pictures and Mandi suggested I do it. I was SO flattered!! I was also nervous when she told me that they wanted them done at 9:00 in the morning at the red hill (dixie rock) My last session there didn't exactly go as planned and we had a TON of bright sun that day! I hoped and prayed that it would be a little overcast that morning so we wouldn't have to hide in the shade! I actually got my wish, but it was also very cold so I felt really bad!! We had to hurry and take jackets off for the pictures and then bundle everyone back up! I thought the pictures turned out pretty well though. It's always a challenge with big groups, not only to position them, but to get pictures where everyone is looking at the camera! (we had like 20 little kids there!)
My brother in law has 6 siblings and they were all able to make it for the photos!

And the whole gang!!! I'm not quite sure I'm done editing them yet. I have this problem where I edit them, then a few hours later, I go back and decide I don't like the way I did it. I'm going to ask my sister in law what she thinks before I burn the CD's!! (i'm kinda hoping she'll see these!!!)
I also had a little idea. Since it was overcast, and there was lots of gray sky in the background, so I thought about putting in blue sky....here is the result. Thoughts???
We'll see what happens with more editing! I just want to make sure they like the photos!!!

Cedar Mountain
My family and I go to Cedar mountain every year to camp. It is always so beautiful! I had to do a pamphlet report for my biology class at a national park or monument and we decided to drive up! We thought it would be beautiful, we thought there would be flowers blooming, trees blooming, snow melting, and life springing up all around us. Instead, we found out that not everywhere is like St. George! There were still many feet of snow up there, even the lake was frozen over!! It was a different kind of beauty. We enjoyed ourselves by buying sleds from duck creek and sledding for the afternoon! It was so much fun, and I got some really beautiful pictures for my assignment :)

m family
This is one of my sister in laws and her family! We got to do a very quick shoot the other day. It was cloudy which made me sad because I love sunset photo shoots, but we got a few good ones in the 20 minutes we had!! :) I've been experimenting a little in PSE and tried some new things! I like to experiment!!!! Thanks for letting me take your pictures!!!
